EVK Design is a collaborative design and production studio on Bowen Island, British Columbia. Drawing on over 20 years of experience in architecture, product design, construction, and renovations, creating high-quality, functional, and beautiful spaces that stand the test of time.  Guided by our mission to tread lightly on the environment, we strive to integrate designs with your natural surroundings and make sustainable choices that minimize our impact on precious resources. 

We provide design consultation for small scale buildings, tenant improvements, pavilions, new single family homes, renovations, interiors, and custom furniture. By taking time to get to know you, we are able to create spaces and objects that are at once efficient and inspiring. We seek to simplify your daily life through thoughtful, versatile, and sustainable design.  

As bespoke furniture designers and makers, we see the unique and endless potential in reclaimed, reusable materials. We expose and refine the material's true beauty, carving objects into classic contemporary designs that are finished naturally or with hand rubbed natural oils and lacquers. This means that your handcrafted piece is truly one-of-a-kind. 

Whether you are looking to remodel an existing space or expand into a new one, EVK Design will work in partnership with you to provide design plans, preliminary drawings and building permits, design and construction technical detailing, material selection, 3D computer models, and architectural renderings. Through our holistic approach, we also design for smart buildings and smart technology.
